We Live and Love Like Jesus
Whether you have recently chosen to follow Jesus, or you've been a Christian for many years, we are all on a journey to live and love more like Jesus. Here we believe you can do that by making 4 decisions in your life to Entrust, Enjoy, Invest, and Invite. These decisions are evidenced by actions as we grow closer to Christ and who He created us to be.
4 Decisions We Make
Salvation – we proclaim the salvation grace of Jesus (John 3:16 & Romans 10:9)
Baptism – a public declaration of our personal decision to follow Jesus (Acts 2:38, Matthew 28:19 & Mark 16:16)
Prayer – we seek to continually surrender our faith, family, future, finances, fitness, fun (Proverbs 3:5-6) and We choose to make time to talk to God every day (Ephesians 6:18).
Biblical Community – Committing to live and grow godly relationships through biblical and accountable community (Acts 2:46)
Read the Bible– We spend time daily with God, reading and journaling through His Word (John 15:5, Psalm 119:11 & Hebrews 4:12)
Worship – We seek to enjoy God through Worship together at Daybreak and on our own throughout the week (Psalm 95:1-2, Isaiah 25:1 & 1 Chronicles 16:34)
Serve on a team– Using your time and talents to serve God, the church, and your community (Matthew 25:21)
Tithe Regularly – Tithing is an act of worship and obedience, giving God 10% of our income. (Prov 11:24-25 & Malachi 3:10)
Missions – We invest time and resources in mission and church multiplication around our county and throughout the world (Matthew 28:19-20)
Share Your Story – We are the witnesses to what God has done in our lives (Acts 1:8)
Invite People – We invite anyone who needs Jesus to “come and see” what church is all about (John 1:46b)
Make Disciples – We invite others to choose to be more like Jesus (Matthew 8:28-30)
Entrust Your Life to God
We are entrusting our whole lives to God by choosing Jesus, getting Baptized and surrendering our lives to Him.
Enjoy Belonging in God's Family
Finding joy in God's family requires relationship building with God and with others. We build these relationships here at Daybreak by connecting through Life Groups, prayer, worship, and reading scripture.
Invest in God's Work
God is always moving, and we can choose to be a part of that or not. We can invest in God's work by giving, serving, and supporting Missions.
Invite Anyone Who Needs Jesus
Inviting people into what God has promised is as easy as sharing your story and inviting others to begin writing theirs.
